Now to prove that Murphy's Law is always in play, last night was the only night that we had made plans for. Mizzou Gymnastics was having their "Pink Out" for breast cancer last night.

We braved the weather, dodged the sliding cars, and headed off to the Hearns Center to see Mizzou compete against the Fighting Illini and to get our "Pink Out" t-shirts. Mizzou is ranked 18th in the nation and they won last night by three points.
After the meet, it only took us twenty minutes to chip the ice off the van and thirty minutes to make our way home at twenty miles an hour. We got home just in time to go to bed. Yeah.
Eilish's gymnastics practice was cancelled this morning so i let them sleep in until about 9am. We're now getting ready to go do some grocery shopping before the second wave of ice slides into town this afternoon. Boo.
According to the weather man we may be spending most of our three day weekend at home. I'm already getting cabin fever. It sounds like I will have plenty of time to blog this weekend.
Peace and Good Cheers,
Marty

I hope it wasn't a one time thing.
Isn't the sleeping in nice? I had to have stick-to-itness to sleep in that long. Amber begged me to get up and then Bill came and asked me if I was ever going to get up. Once or twice a month doesn't show an addictive pattern, no matter what their actions indicated!
Congrats on the 44. It must be your constant contact with your children the last couple of days. :-)
